I recall reading somewhere that Boeing demo pilots used to roll the 737
during demonstration flights with airline pilots whose line was considering
buying the 737. The practice was unknown to Boeing but came to light when
a German crew went home and augured in doing the same thing. Boeing
stopped the practice immediately but I wonder how many times their pilots
had rolled the 737 in demos.
