Hey now,
I've been reading about this problem for a couple of days now
and I guess I sould put in my two cents worth.

How about using a soldering gun? you can change the wire bit to a
cheese slicer shape like a mini hot wire. That'll cut right through it.
I have to break epoxy joints often, and heat is the best way I've yet
found.
