What is SNOW ? SNOW is that white stuff that falls out of the sky up here where I work. I does once or twice a year, usually in the winter, but as late as April. Mostly it disappears quickly, but occasionally it sticks on the ground for weeks. Hard ice too can be a problem, driving in that stuff is difficult. Today we had rain, rain that covered just about the whole landmass. We have not had rains like this for at least a year. Not as bad a Texas, but very bad for Maui, Hawaii. I work on top of 10,000 foot Mount Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii. Tonight the air temperature is 45 degrees, with a wind chill of about 25 degrees, and it is raining.
