Hello, I am embarking on the cnc hot wire quest and have gathered my more capable(than me) friends together for the project. I was wondering if the few people on the list who use this setup could answer a couple of questions I have? 1. When cutting smaller span cores (we want 48 inch max) than 48 inches do you move the ends of the cnc rig in, or do you use the software to extrapolate the size of the template at 48 inches and then put the foam core in the middle of the rig and deal with the extra wire sag of the 48 inch cutting bow? 2. Do you use the cnc to cut blanks for the wings? 3. Do you use the cnc to cut spar slots? If so, during airfoil cutting or after? 3. Is the cutting sequence the same as for a template system ( bottom LE to TE and then top LE to TE ) or do you cut in a circular path?
