I dunno about the Berkshire Mountain sites, but is the
Taconic Range close enough for you? If yes, maybe
try Petersburg Pass on SR 2 on the MA/NY border
between Williamstown MA and Petersburg NY.
Not a beginner hill, but lots of lift in NW wind. See
