Hopefully this whole thing is just a misunderstanding, but in his defense,
he did say that he sent several emails over the course of several weeks.
At this point, he's just waving his arms around trying to get the vendor's
attention.  I agree, a small web vendor should not have to stayed tied to
the computer and monitor email on a day-to-day basis, but at least some
sort of status update over the course of several weeks is not at all
unreasonable, especially if the customer has already paid for the product.

I guess I've been lucky in dealing with sailplane equipment folks over the
internet.  I've never had anyone try to rip me off or delay shipping
something after I've been charged for it with no explanation.  As I said,
hopefully that's not the case here either, and it's all a big
misunderstanding.
