The back to back spinners are supposed to work like a universal joint in
your car. Sometimes the knots on the otherside can prevent them from
working. In this case you may need an extra ring at each end to make sure
your universal joint action is correct. When it is working correctly when
you bring it back you will see it spinning wildly. It is not uncommon to
just hook it upand get your hand out of the road and suddenly see the two
lines take a whole bunch of knots out of themselves.
There is always Murphy to contend with.
