It can be and probably is a Laser 2M. I owned a Laser 2M that was purchased
from Ed before you bought out the rights to the plane. Shortly after I
purchased mine is when you bought the rights and then Ed changed the
planform slightly and brought out the Faser. Shortly after that he started
offering the Faser 2M composite plane with a 7035. So depending on how old
the kit it is, Steve may have a Laser 2M for sale that he purchased from Ed
Slegers.

Ps, I might also add that the plane is a rock solid performing 2M that can
launch with the best of them.
