and some heart break, or I should say wing break..S :-( It was sunny and warm when I got in to Denver from North Dakota today. I met Bob Rice at their fabulous sod farm field and after introductions opened up the box that I had sent him to keep for me. The box holding My Addiction. There wasn't a mark on the outside and it was packed solid with bubble wrap. The wings were in there shucks and the shucks were unmarked. I was busy chatting while I put the wings on the fuse, and I had it ready to launch when I noticed both wings were crack about halfway out each aileron. I don't know how they managed to break both wings without mangling the box or the shucks. That ended a nice nite of soaring but Bob and his wife and I had an excellent steak dinner and some good coversation, then went to his shop to fix my wings. Tomorrow a visit to the post office (yep it was insured) then hopefully the weather will settle down (it dropped about 20 degrees while we ate, with lots of icy cold rain. In any case my plane and I will be ready to fly in the morning. Hope to see a bunch of you guys on Sunday! Gordy RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
