It is interesting to read comments about the AMA
not showing interest in RC soaring events. I used to be more involved in
free flight and we constantly moaned about lack of AMA support. One year
there was no FF nats as the lease on the field was lost two weeks before the
event.
I think the AMA is fairly balanced when you
consider that the majority of RC fliers fly .40 powered ARFs.
