I think my original response got lost. Light weight and expendability are good features, particularly if you launch on wet grass without golf shoes. Easy one hand grip is good so you don't drop it. Expo is nice on the elevator if you have a lot of throw for tight turns. Basically, the Hi Tec 2 or 3 channel would be excellent if it had expo.
Of course, that's for a polyhedral plane. Seems like there is considerable time while left hand is occupied holding the radio and right is following thru. Suggest small auxiliary control stick to be taped over mouth so that those expressive tongue movements can do some good during launch phase. Also good for suppressing obnoxious, ostentatious grunts at moment of release, of same type as heard in weight rooms from those who drop the stacks as well to ensure sufficient attention. For a 6 servo hlg, one would want another function which oscillated the extra surfaces to add thrust to make up for the extra weight of the servos. Maybe an extra fast flight timer as well. Possibly an auxiliary, adjustable channel synthesizer for glitching opponents in flight. P.S. I have almost as much fun flying hlg off a small hi start which launches to about 600 milliWurtz, maybe 50% higher than I can throw.
