Set up all your launch and land modes on the flap stick and don't mess with
the 3 position switch(over the right stick) during launch. A simple flip of
Switch A(over the flap stick) gets you back and forth from launch and land.

the position of the 3 position switch. The software in the radios is
identical. In sailplane mode, this switch is the flight mode switch, for
setting the launch, neutral and speed flap/trailing edge camber settings.
Also, I believe the heli version comes with ball bearing servos, and so the
system might be more expensive.

thumb/index finger flyer. I have the non-heli version, but I just use my
thumb on the control stick anyway, so it's easy enough for me to reach up
with my index finger and flip the 3 position switch on the right side. If
you use both thumb and finger to fly, I can see how this would be an
annoyance.
