For those residing in Utah, or planning on traveling there for the
Olympics, the following info was just received from the AMA.
"Remote radio-controlled aircraft" and "Rockets (manned and unmanned)"
are prohibited from flying within 52 miles of the Salt Lake City airport
during the Olympic games.
Further--"AMA members are requested not to contact the FAA concerning
this matter. Contact: Jay Mealy at AMA Headquarters for additional
information, (765.287.1256 ext. 270) or by e-mail at [EMAIL PROTECTED]"

Oh well, it's building time and in the single digits at night. Though it
does make you want to fly more when someone says you can't!
