Tony,
You can use an in-line servo reverser that will take care of this problem.
I had to use one on my first unlimited.
Only problem with y-harness flaps is synch'ing the geometry. 
There are also in-line reverser/mixers that should solve the problem

                I thought I could do that with my son's newly acquired
Emerald until I
                realized the flap servos are mounted as mirror images of
each other. So one
                would go up the other down if connected with "Y" 
                We have to use a radio that will allow mixing-and reversing
of 2 channels
                just for flaps!
