BAR/CSS 1st Annual Hand Launched Glider Contest, 4th Great Year June 15 and 16 near Carlisle Penna. at the Carlisle Aeromodelers field. This is a great thermal field much like the one at Muncie, no slopes or tree lines, a true thermal contest. Join us for two days of fun and competition. You can compete against the likes of Phil (gorilla arm) Barnes, Tom (hired gun) Kiesling, Jason Werner and Dr. Mark Drela will join us again for both days (little bugger likes to sneak back to Mass. with one of our trophys under his arm:-) This is one more opportunity to join the ever growing list of people who have kicked my ass also:-) There will be lunch at the field both days and a good pilots raffle. This is the second leg of the East Coast Triad which includes the ECHLC in May in Baltimore, this contest and a two day contest put on by CASA in sept. It's still anybodys game!
