I actually had to tap the winch... I was flying my favorite "Das Boat"
ICON which has stopped 4 man, 3 man, and even really good 2 man F3J tows in
wind. I can usually stall or slow down a winch with this ICON. This winch
just kept pulling, and we were flying in a steady 15mph wind! Steve was
running 290lb braided and there was no stretch in this line, and there is
no breaking it either... it was zippy. 8-) Steve was flying his Escape
which also can load up a normal winch pretty good, especially in the wind
we were flying in.

At the end of the day Steve commented that he is going to need to put a
warning sign on his winch or the winch newbies are going to be blowing up
models. I smiled and said something like that will ruin all the
fun... 8-) He is going to make up a little sticker with two black
diamonds, any skiers reading this list will know what that means!

All I can say is, the launches were tasty... (and my winch needs an
upgrade now)
