Don't make the mistake so many have made, and that is to use some sort of slot or clip system to 'block' freq numbers,

Sailplaners TAKE the clip... and own the freq.  The other system collects drivers licenses and AMA cards and causes lots of crashes.

It works for Power guys cuz they don't fly much, they put their card in a slot, sit down at the table and solve the world's problems, then if they actually decide to put a plane up, they yell out if anyone is on that freq.

Numbers on a board, with bags of Clothes pins.  When a guy takes the clip home or loses it, its not a big deal, cuz he knows he can't ever turn on unless he takes 'the' pin from the board, not brings it with him :-)
