I remember hearing about using RIT Dye for coloring epoxy in layups, but has anyone else used water-based paints before?

I mixed up a test batch the other day with a very small amount of water-based paint (a little goes a long way). The epoxy cured fine.

Some pigment from FiberLay mixed into the epoxy on a HL fuse layup has drastically slowed down the cure rate on a recent HL fuse layup. West System's FAST cured after a week, the SLOW is still going on for two weeks now. Placing it above the radiator in the house for the heat to help it cure hasn't seemed to do much good. I know that I got the mixture rate correct because it is curing, albeit very slowly. I'm using about one droplet for about 1.5 ounces - as little as I can use to effect coloration.

What are you guys using?
