For basic colors:
I like Krylon $2.99 spray can paint.

For fancier colors:
I like Testors Model Master enamel in spray cans or for airbrush.

I try to breathe as little of either as I can. Both paints
clean up with mineral spirits, the mildest solvent in my shop.

My current favorite pinhole filler is Bondo brand (auto parts store)

Gentlemen,

I have used Rustoleum type spray paint on planes in the past... Do any of the automotive spray paints sold in the car parts stores offer better performance than the hardware store paints?

The Plastikote Spot Filling Primer seems to work much better than the rustoleum....
