Hello,

I have been flying the Omega 3 the past year. I liked it enough I got another one for next year.  I have seen the other emails about the Omega.  To clear up a few things, I don't believe the airfoil is a true 7038, if you take a pattern against it, the airfoil is thinner than a 7038.  I have not had too many problems with penetration, even if you did there is a ballast box in the center of the wing to add weight.  The plane is well built and is not that fragile.  The solid part of the wing and tails is molded foam with fiberglass skins.  I actually caught one of the v-tails in the sliding door on my van.  It bent the tail up, but I was able to repair it and finish the flying season.  I didn't set the plane up for the six servos in the wing.  The outer bay will accept a JR 241 with no problem, but I didn't like the programming on the Stylus to support 6 independent wing servos.  I slaved the outer aileron to the inner one and used 4 servos.  It hasn't adversely affected the performance.  Over the Christmas break in the Southern California contest season, I will be making repairs to the airframe and then outfit the new one for the next contest season.

One side note, the wing span is 130 inches and the flying weight of the plane with JR331 servos for the v-tails, I think I am using HS225MG for the flaps and HS225BB for the ailerons and a 1100mah battery is 64 ounces.  It is a squeeze to get the servos in the fuselage and not the tip aileron servos.  The JR331 servos are small but the servos have to be staggered to get clearance the arms.

If you want any pictures of my setup please let me know and I can email some to you.
