I think you may be talking about "California Soaring" ride located in the
2-year old California Adventure Park adjacent to Disney in Anaheim.

It is a gas and well worth the wait.  Grab a Speed Pass, stand in line and
ride it two times in a row!  Try to get into the front row if possible.
That way you're not looking up anyone's feet.

It simulates a hang glider ride complete with wind, sights and smells.
Views of Big Sur, the wine country, orange groves, Yosemite and other places
are featured.

It's cool!
