This Saturday, August 30th, The AMA is going to be giving the Torrey Pines Glider Port an official dedication ceremony as its first National Landmark by the Academy of Model Aeronautics,
The event is at 1:00 PM There will be plenty of flying afterwards, and perhaps even prior to the event if the wind allows. If you have stayed away from TPGP because of last years events, now is a Great time to come because there will be plenty of people who can "certify" your flying ability and restore your flight status to continue to use this beautiful slope site.
