Bad? Maybe. Good? Maybe.


Can comment on the other, I have a becker radio, the short antenna works well, even with the low power output of the becker radio. Great for slope and close in flying without the long antenna gets in the way. Not sure if the antenna was designed to be use with other radios. Most radio manufacturers design the antenna and the neck strap loop so the tx is balance on the eyelet with the antenna fully extented. So when using a lighter antenna, the txs is off balanced, just my 2 cents.
