I've got a slope plane that I'd like to find out more about. It got is used from the local toystore about six years ago where it was on consignment as a "slope racer". It did look the part, so I bought it cheap, fitted a radio and flew it. It lived up to its description -- it was really fast in the air.

Its an odd mixture of new and old technologies. The old technology part is that its built to use a two channel radio with standard size servos, the ailerons being worked by a single servo through torque rods. The new technology bit is that the wings are carbon over blue foam, they're about 2meter span with a elliptical planform and full width ailerons. They''re very strong, they feel almost ceramic to the touch. They're joined by a steel wingrod that goes through the fuse. The fuse is fiberglass, molded in halves.

It may be a prototype or something. I'm not up on slope history so I don't even know how old this plane might be, I think it may be 8-10 years or so. If anyone's got any input I'd welcome it......
