I guess you get a new nickname.  I suggest we call you Hank "Shorts" from now on......

My condolences on your loss but that was d*mned impressive!  Clipping the tree made just enough noise to make me look just prior to the ensuing fireball.

I guess this means that Mike "Sparky" Lee is no longer the most resent person to find the power lines near the TOSS field.

Subject: [RCSE] Pictures of Agate vaporization

Does anyone have any of the many pictures taken of my Agate remains? This was my most impressive crash of all time and I don't want to forget it.   Ever!

It went something like this:

22 seconds to go - enter the downwind leg of the pattern. Looking good ... good speed .... Flat smooth .....whoops ....            Wingtip nicks tree limb ...... Agate begins flat spin heading deeper ...... blam ..... agate encounters 16 kV uninsulated power lines tip to tip .... Last site of plane heading down and to the left .... Wing very very visible (glowing yellow) ....... Smoke in two places, on ground and in tree from burning debris .... Maintenance person waters and extinguishes remains .... No survivors except the pilot ...... duh!
