Every now and then when mixing a batch of epoxy and cabosil for
structural model building, it doesn't always cure hard as a rock.
It ends up kinda rubbery for a few days. I'm using Hanger 9 30-
minute epoxy and West Systems Cabosil. Using an accurate postal
scale, the normal amount mixed is 3 grams of part A and 3 grams of
part B. It gets mixed for 3-4 minutes before adding the Cabosil
then mixed for 3 minutes more. Sometimes the mixture cures hard in
one hour and sometimes it is still rubbery after 2 days. Only
enough Cabosil is added to make the slurry the same consistancy of
toothpaste.

Any ideas for the rubbery result? Any suggestions for a more
consistant epoxy?
