It depends... on the line length and the wind. Give me a little breeze and good air and the F3b winch will put a model higher. But no wind or downwind, then that power with a big drum will do better than mono.
We use two plastic half shells on our winch drum to increase the diameter when there's
little wind. Increases the line speed but reduces the line tension available.
