The ultimate sin hat is the "Sun Tamer" It is made from a vinyl siding type material, has an adjustable internal basket so air circulates under it, it has a white top and dark green bottom, so it reflects heat (and is insulated). It has a strap and has been tested in very high winds and completely sheds rain.
