The latest version of FlightView, version 3.0, is now available for download from the Soaring Circuits website. New features include an annotated time scale which zeros on the start marker, and atmospheric temperature compensation built right into the software. This allows the user to enter the air temperature when the flight was made making the RAM's altitude data more accurate than ever.
Even if you don't own an altimeter but are curious to see how the software operates, you can download FlightView and view the included sample files. RAM altimeters are available for $89 and come complete with FlightView software and 6 foot cable for uploading flight data to your PC.
