Ya know, the old tried an true unit from Dwyer. Jokingly referred to as the
Dwyer Liar really isn't bad. It doesn't require batteries, isn't fragile and
costs about $9.95.

It'll tell ya if there's wind. Plus, I can ya from personal experience that
when you're standing on the slope in gale force winds, it does a fine job of
providing a strong sense of satisfaction when that little indicator ball
slams against the maximum reading of 65MPH.
