Glad to hear someone else got out in the midwest. :-)

I got in a few hours of slopen this morning, then the sun broke a
little, so got the winch trailer out and the X-21.
It was blowing 15 to 20 mph, and 41 degrees, had a great time.
Zooms where huge with the X-21.
The significant other even got out and shag chutes for me,
God bless her!  I swear she's a saint sent to me.  :-)

Subject: [RCSE] Big air day in Louisville today

It was COLD this morning...and over cast from yesterdays rain storm.  We got to the field a little late about 11:00am.  Ed didn't have the winch with him, figuring no one would fly today, but the winds were calm and AOL said warm and sunny today, so I cajoled him into bringing it out.

By the time it was set up the sun was out the temp was up and as usual, a warm dry day following a cold wet day meant a day of yelling at newbies to get their planes down!

Sweet stuff.  Picolario said that a pals 2m Spirit was at 1,400'. and barely visible which led to some excitement but in the end his spoilers did their job.  If he wasn't hooked into soaring before, you can bet he is now.

Wish you all could have been there.
