I'm in the process of rebuilding my Solar plane and I want to do some
ground based static tests before I risk another infight structural failure.

The failure was caused by one of two possibilities.

1)The Spar in the H-Stab failed at speed.

2)The Tail boom was too flexible leading to a tuck runaway followed by
failure of the the H-Stab.

I'm rebuilding using the HT21 airfoil for the H-Stab. My design VNE speed is 50 mph. My Hstab is 36" span, 4" tip and 7" root chord.

How much force can this airfoil generate at 50MPH? (To static test the spar)

How much tail boom deflection at this force is acceptable?

I'd like to static test both parameters before I risk another failure.
