I just sold my Stylus transmitter, glider card, and memory card. I'm taking a little hiatus from the hobby for personal and family reasons. I'm not jumping out all the way (I have too much invested into the hobby to get out completely <grin>). I do, however, want to keep up with the new trends and technologies pertaining to the hobby. I've notice that Futaba has the new 14-MZ coming out. Wow, what a radio! Then I've read about the new JR 9303 in the February issue of Model Aviation. Of course, Multiplex has a replacement (?) for the 3030 which is the Royal Evo line of transmitters.
Now where is Airtronics in the picture? I've heard rumors (?) that Airtronics is giving up doing 50 MHz frequencies for their transmitters. The Stylus transmitter which is Airtronics flagship radio for years is showing its age compared to the newer radios coming out by their competitors. Does anyone in the group know about any new tricks up Airtronics sleeve? Enquiring minds wants to know. Aloha to all in the group.
