2meter planes.....
Advantages: Relatively cheap, relatively robust and easy to carry around
Disadvantages: Not as much "float" as a bigger ship, more difficult to see at a distance
People who just think 2meter planes suck haven't flown one for a bit. They used to fly like slope planes (i.e. bricks) but a modern one performs as well as a bigger plane, especially if the person flying it knows what they're doing.
