Ed I have been using the 1800 and 2250 nimh cells from some china company. I bought 25 or them and took the ones that matched the closest and made a xmitter pack for the 8303. I can fly all day with them. No need to charge at the field unless you want but these last a long time. Do a search there are some places you can get them real cheap
