OK,I ordered an Evo 9(w/scanner) from them a couple of months ago. This was a few months after Evos were being advertised in the mags as "shift selectable".When mine arrived it was not shift selectable.I emailed Hobby Horse about the ads I had been reading, and the lack of shift selectability. The only option I was given was to buy the interface cable ($40).I knew that I could send the radio in to Hitec for the upgrade, but chose to buy the cable(from Sirius). You would think the dealer would know this.
I knew about the software issue,so it was no biggie to me.If I had not known, and purchased a $600 radio, only to be told it would cost an additional $40 to make it work,I would have been ill. I have purchased many servos from Hobby Horse in the last few years, some rather expensive.I will not buy more from them. --- Nick Trubov <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Several years ago ... > > Dear lady and -men (I assure you, I know that SOME > of you are gentle) > doesn't ANYONE give credence to the fact that > manufacturers and retailers > CAN improve? > > Not ME, of course.
