I ordered one of the Smiley Rubber Duckey about a year ago for my Evo. When it came I could not figure out how to connect it. I had asked if it would work with the Evo and was assured that it would before I ordered. When I complained they sent another antenna and it would not work ether. I called back a talked with them (it was hard to get to them on the phone) and finally ended up sending it all back for a credit. I am still using the stock antenna. I think the problem is that the MPX antenna has a friction connection at the top the pivots and the mpx antenna can retract. With a Smiley Rubber Duckey the antenna is a larger diameter and rubber coated so no connection without an adaptor. Things may have changed over the year so your mileage may very.
