As most of you know, I am disinclined to reward tardiness. Please sign the AMA waiver forms and be paid up before the pilot's meeting. You should have your planes assembled as well; so as to be able to set up lines and fly immediately following the meeting. The pilot's meeting will be brief as the rules are very straightforward:
Full rules F3J - 4 man team protection - carryover of prelim scores to the finals. Top 10 to the finals - Get your own support for the finals! One throw out for the prelims - assuming 6 or more rounds are flown. One throw out for the fly-offs assuming 4 or more rounds are flown. Once the contest is underway, we will start the 5 min prep time for a group immediately after the previous working time ends. We should be able to complete a full round in about one hour. We will TRY for 8 ten minute rounds Saturday and 3 ten minute rounds Sunday before the 15 minute flyoff rounds begin about noon.
