Tilly is nice hat, I but I love my adventure hat from Sun Grubbies.
It's really more like a sun helmut!
Very light, dark brim underneath. Does just fine in the wind .... we
get lots of that in Texas.

As the owner of several hats, 3 pair of the best damn shorts in the
world, a vest of too many pockets and lots of socks which will not wear
out; my experience has been:
T1 - best slope hat, T2 - most likely to get you sucked up in a
thermal and my favourite all round hat: the T3.
See Tilley.com for more technical explanation.

And for those that do worry, the Kittery Trading Post in Maine sells
the Tilley T4 for $49.95. I didn't check the other styles tonight. You
can order by phone at 888-587-6246. Shipping in country is around $3 to
$6 or thereabouts. Dennis
