Congratulations once again to Brian Smith, who beat three-peat champ Jim Frickey and a bunch of other strong fliers for the high score of the weekend. Brian won Saturday's contest, Jim won Sunday's. Marc Gellart and former champ Rich Burnoski posted excellent results as well and were right behind the two top dogs, and the field was bunched pretty closely at the top. I was a no-show due to family activities. I hated to miss the contest and so many flying buddies from all over. The conditions were excellent, with moderate breezes and moderate temperatures, and plenty of sun.
