Hi all, I pulled out an old Schulze controller yesterday for an electric event, and I could not get it to work. It's basically an MCD-99, future 88. Back in the shop, I found it would only work with a receiver battery, but I swear I have used this in a BEC setup on 8 cells.
If you've used this setup or similar*, any suggestions for getting it running without the RX battery? It's already back out of the ship, but I'd like to use it again, and that's the natural configuration I'd go to.
