Some years ago I purchased a 1/4 scale ASW 27 from Sailplanes Unlimited, a nice kit. The most involved part of the construction was covering the obechi wings. The instructions were in German. The 27 went together without the instructions; however, I was curious. My lovely wife is fluent in Swiss-German. The written language is in German though. Many of the technical words were new, but with a little work made sense. In the process of translating the German I realised how easy it would be the assemble a canard WAZZO 27 which closely resembles the Bablefish. One unforseen result of this joint effort is that I occasionally talk in my sleep in German using these new aeronautical terms. My wife wakes me up asking what all the babbling is about. It's amazing how some mysteries get solved.
