To all the guys who replied about my camera dilemma, thanks for the input. It appears that in the UK, Nikon D70,s are a bit like hens teeth, very rare. They all seem to got to the U.S. and Japanese markets.
I finally decided not to go for the Canon 350d as I felt it was not comfy to hold, a bit too tiny. It felt really nice the first few times I held it but after handling a couple of other cameras with better hand grips I had gone off it. I chose the Nikon D50 plus a couple of lenses giving me a range from 18mm to 300mm. Now to learn how to use it. Again thanks guys, merry Xmas and a Happy Hew Year.
