Bill,

I do not believe anywhere in my message did I say woody planes should stay away, just that the organizers should not have to make a separate class for them.  I actually kind of liked Ray's idea of the woody flyers keeping track of their own scores and having a contest within the contest.  People do that all the time with "landing for dollars".  I also do not believe the rules said anything about not allowing woody planes to fly, so bring them on.

See Ya,

Pat

Why should the organizers of the event make a special class for Woody Flyers

Ps,  John and Ray, both of your offers are quite generous, but maybe at the
wrong event.

I think you are right Pat, I don't think the JR organizers meant to invite all flyers or all kinds of sailplanes, so I think we should stay away as you say. No problem, Bill G.
