I wonder how the free flighters feel about just launching and retrieving
it? They seem to enjoy themselves. 8-)
We are along way from taking the sticks away from anyone that wants to
control their models manually, which BTW, I enjoy immensely.
But this type of technology fascinates me, and that's why I shared the
link. As Jim Deck sent me privately, maybe it would be interesting to some
who could develop better soaring algorithms for keeping their models aloft
longer. Also, there is the possibility to learn different techniques from
all the data logging... even if you were to take this knowledge and apply
it to your own piloting skills.
