Hi all, This is the final report on my project. It was a great experience for me to work under my mentor Matthias Klumpp. I have been able to complete the project. And now we can generate DEP-11 metadata for AppStream. I have written a summary of my project[0]. And I plan to work for Debian in future too and I'll also be attending the DebConf. Hopefully I'll meet some of you there.
