In light of that article Frank Keeney posted last week about the six dumbest ways to secure a wireless LAN (http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/index.php?m=20050318), it was very amusing to hear the "technology expert" on CNN this morning advising people about their home Wi-fi setups.

In fact, the only security advice she gave was exactly that contained in the article! She said, disable DHCP, turn of SSID broadcast and enable WEP!

She also swore up down and sideways that the Earth is flat, is 6,000 years old, was created in six days, and that dinosaurs and men existed at the same time.

In Atlanta, faith-based Wi-fi security is apparently just as fundamental a premise as efery other faith-based tenet...
