Use a Linksys (atheros) cardbus card.

I bought a new laptop with Intel Centrino WLAN (Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG).
Ethereal is able to see the WLAN NIC but when I start "capture" no packets are being captured.
A search on Google shows some posts about the Windows drivers for the Intel Centrino not supporting promiscuous mode by default and Ethereal blaming WinPcap and WinPcap blaming Ethereal.
Does anyone on the list know of a way to get around the problem? Supposedly it is the same for the Intel Pro/Wireless 2100 series NIC's as well.
