I'll try to prepare a patch. Some cleanup will be required though
since my changes are based off an old CVS version (and SOCI has
since moved to git if I understand correctly). I have also modified
more things than just unicode support.
Anyways, I'll see what I can do today. Merging my stuff into the
trunk would be very much appreciated of course.
