Is this all the record that exists of this meeting? If so, in the future, in-person meetups should be much more documented and published so as to not create an elite group of developers who can get together and decide things outside of the broader GNU Social community. I have a hard time believing that this is all that came out of it. Additionally, I think it's probably a waste of time to try to implement things like an "about me" page before we have any concept of what the GNU Social protocol will be. The first priority of the GNU Social project should be the creation of a clearly defined and specified high-level protocol for communication between nodes. It should be specific enough to ensure interoperability but general enough to ensure that it can be implemented in a variety of ways, and is truly a general protocol and not something tied into current technologies, trends, or implementation systems.
